How Long Is Massage Therapy School?

Massage therapy school programs vary. American Massage School  program is 650 clock hours – that is 600 theory through distance education and 50 hours hands-on training.

How can I become a Massage Therapist?

 After completing a our program, the next step is to sit for and pass the MBLEX certification exam. American Massage's certificate program which includes Hands-on-Training in Alabama qualifies for the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) through the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB).

Does this meet my state requirements?

 A career in this field may require you to meet certain licensing, training, and other requirements that can vary by vocation and state. You should check with your state, local government and/or licensing board to find out which requirements may be applicable in your state.

How much does the Massage Therapist program cost?

Tuition for this program is $6,500 when you pay in full for 600 credit hour Online Academics Only. $7,500 is attending 50 hours In Person Technique Training with our facility. Payment plans are also available.

Can I do the hands-on-training anywhere else?

Our hands-on-training is only offered in Alabama, if you are unable to attend, you can check with your state requirements to see if they will allow you to do the online portion and then supplement any hands-on hours locally.
